Village Park Village Park is a 12 hectare park located on Dunsmuir Avenue at Sixth Street. Park features include: children’s playground, seasonal water spray park, off-leash dog park, skatepark, bike dirt jump park, tennis court and pickleball courts, basketball court, BMX track, horseshoes pitches, and playing fields. Washrooms (Open all year with seasonal hours) Please help the keep the park clean and safe for all users and do not bring your dog into the park, other than in the Off-Leash Dog Park. Several components in the playground are universally accessible, and the playground surface is a mix of pour-in-place rubber and engineered wood fibre. Activities: picnic and playground with garbage cans, easy forest walking trails, swimming (no lifeguard), salmon spawning river, dogs on leash. There is free parking along 1st Street on the river side. Public washrooms- July and August only There are no paved trails in the park. The path to the bridge is steep and rough.
